Online Sales Policy
Joeval’s s a full service specialty store retailer with a brick and mortar physical location in upstate New York. When you place an order on our website we will treat you with the same care and respect we extend to our in-store customers.
Due to the specialty nature of our formal dresses “ALL SALES ARE FINAL”.
- We will be happy to consult with you either by phone or e-mail should you have any questions relating to your order
- We will do everything possible to make sure your order is filled in a timely basis and that your shipment will arrive when you are expecting it
- We will issue a full credit if, due to unforeseen circumstances, your item cannot be shipped in time for your wear date. This is extremely rare and would only happen if the designer does not receive the order when expected
We will (on internet sales only) exchange sizes only of the same style dress within 2 (two) days of your receipt of the package if we have another size in store. You must call us (585-413-1748) for a return authorization number to place on the outside of the box before returning. Boxes without return authorization numbers will not be accepted. If we are out of stock and the designer has stopped cutting the dress, there will be no exchanges.
Dresses returned for an exchange must still have our original tags on the garment and must never have been worn nor damaged in anyway. Customer pays shipping and exchange shipping charges. Out of stock items normally happen as the prom season progresses, and if we are out of stock there will be no exchange. Please pay close attention to the size chart listed under each dress company. The size chart is an accurate measurement of the dress give or take 1/2”. Have a professional take your measurements and verify how close you fall within the the size chart. It is much easier to take a dress in than to let it out. Most dresses can be professionally altered to take down to three sizes. Call with questions or to have our professional staff assist you in packing a size.
Please note that the prices that you see on our website reflect the Designer’s Suggested Retail Price [MSRP]. The designers that we represent do not allow their collections to be displayed on a website for a lower price than the MSRP price that you see on our website. If you see a lower price on any other website for the exact style from the same designer then you can KNOW FOR CERTAIN that website is producing and selling counterfeit dresses or gowns of inferior quality and shipping them as originals.
The prices in our stores are not necessarily equal to the price on our website. We accept orders online to give our customers the convenience of purchasing their dress or gown directly form our website. We do everything we can to keep the prices on our website accurate and consistent with what the designer is charging for each style at the current time. However, it is possible that there may be a price on our website that is simply incorrect or that my have been charged by the designer without our knowledge.
Backorders and Delivery Times
If we do not have the item you ordered in stock, it will be automatically placed on backorder. If we cannot deliver your merchandise withen seven days of your occasion date, your order will not be processed, and you will be notified within 2 days of placing the order.
Please note, we are restricted by Jovani from shipping any of their products to the following countries: Australia, Bahrain, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Libya, Mexico, Moldova, Netherlands, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Switzerland, U.K., Ukraine.
